Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN – Assisted Living
Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Compensation: $40.00/hour + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
A well-established assisted living organization on Staten Island is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking to enjoy a consistent weekday schedule while providing high-quality care in a supportive assisted living environment.

Qualifications
  • Current New York State LPN license
  • CHHA experience preferred
  • Home care experience is a plus
  • Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, printing, and scanning

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a supportive assisted living environment. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, you will help promote residents' health, safety, and independence while ensuring care is delivered in accordance with clinical standards and organizational policies. Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Hours per week: Full-Time (40 hours)
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire
Key Duties
  • Provide skilled nursing care and medication administration to assisted living residents.
  • Monitor residents' health status, document assessments, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and staff to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Educate residents and families on health-related needs while promoting resident safety and independence.
Requirements
Education
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Required: Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Preferred: CHHA experience.
  • Home Care experience is a plus.
Skills
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic office applications, including printing and scanning.
