John Knox Village is seeking a reliable and motivated Full‑Time Cabinet Installer / Entry‑Level Carpenter to join our Facilities team. John Knox Village is a not‑for‑profit Life Plan Retirement Community offering independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care to more than 1,000 residents. Our scenic 70‑acre campus in Pompano Beach is conveniently located near major highways and transportation options.
As a Cabinet Installer / Entry‑Level Carpenter, you will support a variety of carpentry and installation projects across our 70‑acre Life Plan Community. You'll work with a team dedicated to maintaining high‑quality craftsmanship and creating safe, beautiful living environments for our residents.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in precision, and is comfortable using a range of hand and power tools.
Prior carpentry experience
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments accurately
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading and writing
Proper installation of cabinets
Crown molding and trim work
Installation of doors and door hardware
Shelving installation
General carpentry support as needed
