Job Description
An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the South Bend, IN area for a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience with a background in developing a wide array of traditional Structural and Industrial engineering projects . This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and highly respected structural engineering organization led by experienced industry professionals that is involved in delivering complex, high-impact structural projects across multiple industries .
All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent) is REQUIRED
· Engineer Intern ( EI / EIT ) certification is REQUIRED
· Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as RISA , RAM , ETABS , STAAD , etc.is REQUIRED
· Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and structural standards such as IBC , ASCE 7 , AISC , ACI is REQUIRED
· Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field ; PE licensed (or eligible for licensure in Indiana) is PREFERRED
· Skilled in Revit/CAD with experience managing structural projects from concept through design and construction is PREFERRED
· Field experience and strong collaboration skills with key stakeholders including architects , contractors , and multidisciplinary engineering teams is PREFERRED
