In this role, you will oversee all Sports Deck activities, manage and develop a diverse team, ensure safety compliance, and deliver engaging sports and recreational experiences for guests of all ages. You will work closely with the Cruise Director and other departments to create a fun, active, and world-class guest experience.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, supervise, train, coach, and motivate Sports Staff members.; Assign daily duties and work schedules.; Monitor team performance and provide ongoing development and training.; Support recruitment, hiring recommendations, and staffing requirements.; Ensure all team members comply with Royal Caribbean standards, safety policies, SQM standards, and USPH requirements.; Guest Experience & Events Maintain a strong visible presence throughout the Sports Deck.; Serve as Master of Ceremonies (MC) or host for sports competitions, group functions, charters, promotional events, themed activities, and special onboard events.; Who We're Looking For We are looking for a highly energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused professional with a strong passion for sports, recreation, leadership, and guest engagement.; Ideal Sports Background;

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Recreation, Sports Management, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Fitness, or a related field.; Minimum 3 years of experience in sports, recreation, fitness, physical education, coaching, or activity management.; Experience coordinating and leading sports activities for large groups.; Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.; Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.; Ability to train, develop, and motivate team members.; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.;
