Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist

Location: Remote (Anywhere in the World) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (PST,CST,EST) Compensation: $1,500 USD / $1,800 USD/month.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist who combines strong writing skills with strategic thinking, SEO, research, and performance marketing.

This is more than a traditional copywriting role. You'll create and optimize content across websites, landing pages, paid ads, email campaigns, blogs, social media, and other marketing channels, while helping shape messaging and content strategy.

The ideal candidate understands how to turn business goals into compelling content, adapt messaging to different audiences, maintain a consistent brand voice, and write copy designed to drive engagement and conversions.

What You'll Actually Do

• Write and edit copy for websites, landing pages, paid ads, emails, blogs, social media, and other marketing materials
• Develop content strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives
• Create conversion-focused copy for Meta, Google, TikTok, and other advertising channels
• Conduct audience, competitor, keyword, and industry research
• Develop and maintain consistent brand voice and messaging
• Write SEO-focused website and blog content
• Create email campaigns, promotional content, and lead-generation copy
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members on campaigns
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and quality
• Use performance insights to improve messaging and content
• Leverage AI tools for research, ideation, content development, and workflow efficiency
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment

Expectations

• Produce polished, engaging, and conversion-focused copy with minimal supervision
• Understand the difference between brand-focused content and performance marketing copy
• Adapt tone and messaging across different audiences, industries, and platforms
• Maintain strong attention to detail across all written materials
• Apply SEO principles naturally while maintaining readability and brand voice
• Research unfamiliar industries and quickly understand their audiences
• Collaborate effectively with remote creative and marketing teams
• Manage multiple content projects while consistently meeting deadlines
• Take ownership of assignments from initial research through final delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional copywriting, content writing, or content marketing experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across multiple content formats
• Hands-on experience writing website, landing page, email, social media, and advertising copy
• Experience developing or contributing to content strategy
• Strong editing, proofreading, research, and storytelling skills
• Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and on-page optimization
• Experience writing conversion-focused or performance marketing copy
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Drupal, Squarespace, or similar
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of modern content and research workflows
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines remotely
• Submission of an introductory video is required as part of the hiring process

Nice to Have

• Experience writing copy for Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads
• Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast, AIOSEO, or Google Keyword Planner
• Experience with email platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or Keap
• Experience working with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands
• Experience creating UGC scripts and creative concepts
• Familiarity with Canva, Figma, CapCut, or similar creative tools
• Previous experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients
• Familiarity with AP Stylebook or other professional editorial guidelines
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and performance marketing teams
