This contract-based opportunity is perfect for an experienced LPN who thrives on supporting student health and well-being. You’ll work closely with a 5th grader, ensuring their daily clinical needs are met with compassion and professionalism from morning pickup to their safe return home.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Georgia
• Prior experience in school-based nursing, especially in one-on-one settings, preferred
• Proficient in G/J-tube feedings, seizure protocols, oral suctioning, supplemental oxygen use, and medication administration
• Familiarity with asthma management and vital sign monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and clinical teams
• Comfortable working onsite and traveling with the student to and from school via bus

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the student’s home each morning to provide individualized nursing care and safely accompany them to school by bus
• Maintain constant supervision and support for the student throughout the school day and during the return trip home
• Perform specialized clinical tasks, including g-tube feedings, oxygen supplementation as needed, medication administration, and oral suctioning
• Implement student’s IEP and doctor’s orders while carefully monitoring for seizures and managing asthma or other health needs
• Communicate daily updates to guardians and educational staff, ensuring coordinated care
• Uphold all professional and legal nursing standards in the school setting

This assignment runs from August 10, 2026 to May 21, 2027, offering a predictable weekday schedule of 6:30 a.m. to approximately 2:30/3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
