Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting elementary students’ health needs for the 2026-2027 school year. This role focuses on assisting the school nurse in a dynamic, collaborative environment, ensuring that students at Lincoln Elementary receive exceptional care and support.

This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through late May 2027, offering stability and the chance to build meaningful connections with staff and young learners. You'll work weekday school hours alongside dedicated professionals who prioritize student well-being.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active LPN or LVN licensure
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a school setting
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Able to adapt quickly to changing needs during the school day
• Compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to student care

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the school nurse with daily health office operations, including medication administration, records management, and first aid
• Provide direct medical support to students as needed
• Serve as substitute PCA/1:1 support for designated students when required, especially for diabetic care and absences
• Foster a safe, supportive atmosphere where all students' health and comfort are prioritized
• Communicate effectively with staff about student health concerns and updates
