General Summary: As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be part of a team that is responsible for testing solutions that are vital to Family Dollar. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Create/Execute Test plans and scripts based on the project artifacts (business, functional and non-functional requirements) created by development and business team Perform data validation using queries, SQL and other tools Track and report the various defects and map them to the various development life cycles of the project Work closely with TCoE, project and solutions teams to develop and enforce quality standards Confirm functional capabilities of final products and solutions Confirm stability (response time, etc.) of final products and solutions Participate in and contribute during defect triage calls Update and maintain Daily and Weekly QA Status reports and metrics Proactively raise, escalate and communicate quality issues Willingness to learn new technologies, tools and applications to support the business Position Requirements: 3+ years testing experience Experience in functional testing techniques including system acceptance and regression testing Minimum of one-year hands on experience using UI path RPA test automation tool or equivalent, in addition to scripting languages like Playwright, python etc. Experience with Microsoft Excel and other office products and defect tracking tools such as Zephyr, JIRA or equivalent Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with other teams Experience with various life cycles testing but not limited to system testing, integration testing, User acceptance testing and end-to-end testing Working knowledge in testing methodologies based on its relevance to the development life cycle Ability to work independently Desired Qualifications: Prior work experience in Retail domain Experience with RPA automated test tools, ideally UiPath Experience with scripting languages like Playwright, Python Experience working Agile project process Experience testing applications running on iSeries “Projected Salary Range: $77,000 - $95,500”.
