Overhead Crane Operator

NLMK USA is looking for Overhead Crane Operator Employees. We are dedicated to providing our employees with a safe, stable workplace where teamwork, attention to detail and quality customer service define our culture.

Job Responsibility: Job duties include loading and unloading trucks, stacking coils in the shipping dock, perform daily visual crane inspection, and provide support needed to operate and maintain steelmaking and finishing processes throughout the plant.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Stability in employment history
• Ability to handle heights and small spaces
• Safety conscious
• Ability to make decisive and accurate judgements
• Must have good initiative, dedication, problem solving skills and enjoy working in a team environment
• Must be available to work rotating shifts
• Must be able to work in an industrial environment including temperature extremes of heat and cold, dust, noise, outdoor weather conditions, and wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Must be physically fit including lifting up to 50 lb., pulling, reaching, and climbing.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior overhead crane operation experience
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting. Steel experience is highly desired.
