This is an entry-level nutrition position responsible for providing professional nutrition services and education to program participants.Primary responsibilities include:Interviewing and assessing the nutritional status of pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children.Providing appropriate nutrition counseling and education.Certifying eligible clients for WIC benefits and documenting all services in the electronic medical record.Supporting WIC operations through accurate recordkeeping, participant follow-up, and client communication.Minimum Training and ExperienceGraduation from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND); orDietetics Technician, Registered (DTR) with a Bachelor's degree in any subject area from an accredited four-year institution; orBachelor's degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, or Community Nutrition from an accredited four-year institution.How to ApplyClick below to apply: Columbus County Employment Application
