Job Description
The E&I Technician services, troubleshoots, and performs predictive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment throughout the facility. This role focuses on electrical and instrumentation systems, including milling equipment, numerous pumps and rolls, process instrumentation controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and complex drive and control systems. The technician ensures reliable operation of plant equipment by diagnosing issues, implementing repairs, and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance practices.

Work Environment
The work environment is extremely dirty and hot, with large moving parts throughout the facility and work areas that can be high above the floor or in cramped spaces requiring careful attention and adherence to safety protocols. The building is older, and the maintenance team is sizable, with more than ten millwrights and E&I technicians working in a union environment. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the potential to move to a DUPONT schedule if needed. Personal protective equipment is mandatory on the floor, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, a hard hat, and ear protection, reflecting the heavy industrial nature of the operation and the emphasis on safety.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $83408.00 - $83408.00/yr.
