Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Estimator based in United States.

The Estimator will play a key role in supporting successful project development by creating accurate and timely cost assessments for construction opportunities.
This position combines technical analysis, project coordination, and collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The role involves reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to deliver reliable estimates that support business decisions.
You will work closely with teams across sales, engineering, production, field operations, and project management.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated by solving complex estimating challenges.

Accountabilities:

The Estimator is responsible for developing comprehensive project estimates while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with project requirements. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation to support successful project outcomes.

  • Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and project documentation to determine scope and develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and analyze project requirements to support pricing and budgeting decisions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party resources to gather necessary information for project development.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, production, field teams, and project management to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Monitor and adjust estimates based on cost changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate estimating processes and continuously improve knowledge of estimating systems and procedures.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to assigned special initiatives as needed.
  • Support organizational goals related to safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines technical estimating knowledge with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable working with construction documents, managing detailed information, and collaborating across teams.

  • Associate degree or higher in Drafting/Estimating, Project or Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • High level of accuracy with measurements, calculations, and quantity assessments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and estimating methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
  • Desire and ability to grow professionally within the organization.
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work variable hours when required.
