As a remote, seasonal Enrolled Agent Tax Consultant, the candidate will prepare, review, and e-file federal and state income tax returns while providing expert tax advice and client support during tax season. Key responsibilities: Prepare, review, and e-file individual federal and state income tax returns using online platforms Interview clients to gather complete financial information and communicate directly via secure video and audio platforms Research complex tax issues and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Required qualifications: Active, unrestricted Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA credential 3+ years of experience preparing federal and state individual income tax returns Proficiency with commercial tax preparation software; experience with TaxAct is a plus Active PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) and legal authorization to prepare taxes in applicable states Access to a private, quiet workspace with a hardwired, high-speed internet connection
