Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Enrolled Agent to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $36 to $42 per hour.

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
• Represent clients before the IRS and other tax authorities, handling audits, appeals, and collections.
• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure all tax filings comply with current tax laws and regulations, staying updated on changes in tax legislation.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Meet with clients to discuss their financial situations, answer tax-related questions, and provide guidance on tax matters.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax-related documents and correspondence.
• Work collaboratively with other tax professionals and support staff to deliver high-quality service to clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation, tax planning, and representation.
• Must possess a valid Enrolled Agent (EA) certification issued by the IRS.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software's.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax codes and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
