Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday, between 8am-4:30pmThe Cast Technician will provide assistance to the medical staff in the application, maintenance and removal of casts, traction and other splint or motion devices as ordered. Informs patients/families, staff and students about the use and care of casts and traction devices.Key Responsibilities:Maintains cast room and supplies.Applies holding casts or splints per physician protocol.Assists the physician with cast application.Ability to interrelate with children and families.Preferred Qualifications:Casting experienceScheduling experienceComputer knowledgeBasic Life Support (BLS)The pay range for this position is $16.34 - $24.51.
