Job Description

NorthPoint Aviation is invested in growing our employees, and are always looking for Licensed Airframe and Powerplant technicians to join our team. If you're interested in learning more about us, please apply! Willing to train newly licensed personnel to perform job duties listed below. Pay range $50,000 to $70,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the shop order with efficiency and in accordance with the Repair Station specifications.
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair systems including engine, propeller, electrical, control systems, wheels, brakes, interior, etc.
• Communicate directly with senior personnel so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer and Repair Station specifications.
• Great earning potential ($50,000 - $70,000 per year depending on experience)

Qualifications

• Airframe and Power Plant License required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must complete a pre-employment DOT drug test.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
