Pain Relief in Wayne PA

Debilitating back pain, neck pain or joint pain does not have to last forever. Wayne chiropractor, Dr. Ted Glazer has helped relieve hundreds of patients over the years, whether they suffered from sports or auto accident injuries such as whiplash, or years of incorrect posture. We employ several pain relief treatments (such as spinal decompression, spinal adjustments, massage therapy and physiotherapy), all of which are effective, non-invasive and drug free. After thoroughly diagnosing each patient, we make customized treatment plans designed to help every individual achieve long-term relief.

Banish Back Pain and Neck Pain with Spinal Adjustments from Our Chiropractor

Our first line of pain relief starts with highly-skilled spinal adjustments. Because the spine houses the central nervous system, anytime vertebrae are in the wrong place, even a little bit, they can pinch nerves. This causes back pain and neck pain, and can actually cause pain throughout the body, depending on which nerves are pinched. Adjusting the spine back into its correct position may require a series of adjustments over time, but can lead to long-term relief from neck pain, joint pain from arthritis, auto accident injuries, sports injuries, whiplash, shoulder, elbow or wrist pain, hip, knee, ankle or foot pain, headaches, TMJ, sciatica, fibromyalgia, etc.

Along with spinal adjustments, spinal decompression is particularly helpful for relieving back pain from herniated and bulging disc pain because the spine is gently stretched during treatment, taking pressure off of the discs and releasing pinched nerves. This comfortable treatment actually suctions discs back into their healthy shape over the course of treatment, which relieves pain. In the same vein, we often use traction on various parts of the body to create negative pressure within the extremities, leading to more relief from pain and increased flexibility and range of motion.

As we help our patients to find relief through these treatments, we also provide individually tailored exercise therapy regimens designed to strengthen and tone muscles that support the healthy alignment of the spine, or any other weak area of the body. Increasing strength and flexibility throughout the body through exercise is a great way to avoid future injury and prevent pain coming back in the future.

To all of these, we also add massage therapy, which is an enormously helpful complementary treatment that relieves pain by spurring the body to release endorphins. Furthermore, it helps increase range of motion and helps circulation to bring oxygenated, nutrient-rich blood to injured areas while ushering pain-causing toxins out of the area. It relaxes tense muscles and enhances the work we do in realigning and strengthening the spine.

We also provide a number of other physiotherapy techniques and treatments, from deep heat and ultrasound to muscle stimulation and custom orthotics, all of which are designed to for individualized pain relief and total recovery. "After years of competitive sports, I thought that my knee pain was something I should expect. I could not have guessed that working with Dr. Glazer to align my back and hips could correct old injuries. Injuries that I assumed were par for the course. I only wish I had come to see him ten years sooner.."

Simona

"Within an hour of his adjustment I’m 90% free of symptoms, then within 3 hours they are gone completely. It is nothing short of amazing. I will continue to recommend Dr. Glazer to everyone I know."

"Dr. Ted is simply the best Chiropractor on the Mainline. I went to his office because I fell and couldn’t walk without a lot of pain. After the first treatment, I felt so much better. Now, about 3 weeks later, I am pain-free. Dr. Ted is so caring, gentle, and knowledgeable about all kinds of injuries."
