Wayne Chiropractor : Dr. Ted Glazer

I was a personal trainer. As you can imagine, my job required lifting and carrying weights. Suddenly, I developed a painful elbow condition known as “tennis elbow”.  The pain in my elbow was so intense that I couldn’t clench my fists, hold a weight, and at times, couldn’t even pick up the lightest dumbbell! I was afraid that I would lose my job if my disability continued. After considering surgery (the only option according to the surgeon) I decided against it.  A friend of mine convinces me to give his doctor a try. (read more)

Paoli Chiropractor : Dr. Lori Kalie

Dr. Lori Kale, Paoli Chiropractor

Simply put, I was a skeptic… I was attending a pharmacy school with the intention of getting a job doing research for a drug company after I graduated from college. I had constant upper back pain that most likely originated from riding (and falling off of) horses when I was younger. In college, I could not stand the pain anymore and my mom made me go to her chiropractor to get help. Chiropractic was my last resort for getting rid of my pain. (read more)

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
